The birth of Brussels Airlines

This ad dates a couple of years back, but it’s a nice example in line with  our recent articles on company-aquisitions and which impact they have on branding. A merger between two companies mostly translated itself into a new logo and corporate identity, but often this merge also has to be communicated to it’s target audiance in a more wide spread fashion.

With the merger between Virgin and Brussels Airlines, the following commerical was launched. The 2 airlines ‘make out’ in the air -, resulting into th ebirth of a miniature plane (Brussels Airlines):
